2) We are asking Patriot Leadership across Florida to encourage their membership to contact the candidates:Patriot volunteers will be inquiring about the AAP survey, notifying the candidates that the survey was sent out from AAP-FL via email, and that, as constituents, they are interested in the candidates' responses to the survey.
3) Getting the word out about AAP-FL website thru the media (radiocall-ins, letters to the editors, ads mentioning the website, walking precincts).
4) Voter guide distribution at the polls on .
Statewide Candidate Research Team - Responsible for Federal and Florida State level candidate information collection, the presentation of the Abigail Adams Project to the candidates, verification/qualifying of candidates answers, and following up with non-responsive candidates. Reports to the State Coordinator.
Data Entry Team Member - Will assist with the survey data entry of the candidates' survey responses from the email forms received onto the website forms. Can be done during anytime of the day/night and for as long as you are available. Requires as little as an hour a week. Reports to the State Coordinator.
Marketing Team Member - Will be a part of a Statewide team that will focus on getting the word out about the Abigail Adams Project.� Will contact local radio stations, news stations and newspapers in order to let the voters know about the information that AAP can provide. Team members should enjoy writing letters to the editor, calling in and speaking with radio show hosts and the possibility of being interviewed on camera. Training can be provided. Requires as little as an hour a week.� Reports to the State Coordinator.
COUNTY COORDINATOR - Responsible for being the contact person for the State Coordinator and acts as a liaison between local Patriot Group leaders and the State Coordinator. Will connect with the local patriot group leaders in order to support their events and to ask for their assistance on the AAP.
CANDIDATE RESEARCH TEAM LEADER - Responsible for putting teams together for Abigail Adams Project local candidate information collection, the presentation of the AAP to the candidates, verification/qualifying of candidates answers, following up with non-responsive candidates and informing the County Coordinator of any issues with the project. (ie. non-responsive candidates)
Training will be provided.
CANDIDATE RESEARCH TEAM MEMBER - Will be involved in the following activities:
collection of all qualified local candidate contact information for the AAP, verification/qualifying of candidates answers, and following up with non-responsive candidates. Training will be provided. This position can take as little as an hour a week depending on how many members are on the team.
PRECINCT TEAM MEMBER - Will be assisting in the distribution of the Abigail Adams Project Voter guide in targeted neighborhoods. Consists of walking precincts and providing the voter guide to the voters in those neighborhoods. Involves attending organizational and training meetings. Time involved in organizing and training should be no more than 2 hours total. This position will be most active one month before the Primary and then the General elections. Time involved in the distribution of the voter guides is approximately 2 hours per week from July 15th to August 23rd depending on the size of the county and how many team members are participating.
ELECTION DAY DISTRIBUTION TEAM MEMBER - Will be asked to hand out Abigail Adams Project voter guides on November 2nd and any special elections that might be scheduled. Will be asked to participate in a one hour training session about the rules of the polls and the best practices of the distribution of the voter guide. Will be asked to cover a polling place for the time that they are available. This position will take as long as the member is available on the election days.
